I am excited to be working with the wonderfully talented Ms. ClaraFaith. She is a triple threat (model, singer, actress) hailing from Savannah, Georgia. Incredibly hardworking ( I have not heard her complain once!)  and multi-faceted, ClaraFaith's star is rising.
Last week, I had the opportunity to  travel with ClaraFaiths team as her personal choreographer to New Jersey for the John Blassingame annual artist showcase. The weekend was amazing and busy from the start. From instructing yoga, networking, rehearsing, implementing artistic show direction and staging, needless to say, I was a busy BE (misspelled on purpose lol). Part of my instruction process is to cultivate authenticity in clients. It breeds connectivity with audiences. This is one of the things few entertainers understand. Its better to be authentic and genuine in your performances. Don't take shortcuts and dont shortchange the process of fundamentals. it will come bck to bite you in the butt. Having said that, its a relief and a pleasure to work with an artist who undertsands that and works twice as hard every rehearsal! ClaraFaith will surely make a believer out of the whole world!
Yes, I was busy BEing me and loving what I do. It never truly feels like work. Don't get me wrong, I work tremendously hard, and werk! Yes, its wear on the bones and my body does get tired but there is nothing like doing what you love and channeling my God given gifts  through all the body aches. half the time, I don't notice I'm tired till I actually lay me head on a pillow. All that aside, I met some truly genuine and cool people. Faith did an amazing job on her performance. In my opinion she rocked the house and I look forward to working more with her. Her singe "So Special " is due out this summer and If you would like to find out more about ClaraFaith, please visit www.clarafaithbrand.com

As I general rule in life, KEEP MOVING FORWARD.  I have been through many challenging circumstances in my life as far as my career in this industry and people ask me all the time how I deal with disappointments and failures. Its not simple, and it does require an understanding of human nature and knowing thyself.
A lot of times, people expect for you to fail, People will disrespect who you are and what you do because of their own insecurities, people will be unappreciative and manipulate situations and people around you.
You can never let that deter you from your goals, from your path in this life.

I always adopt the mindset of keeping it moving because progression is the key to growth. Be above the pressured circumstances that seek to cloud your thinking, be above people that try to drag your name in the mud. We may never get the appreciation or respect that we feel we deserve from others, so lets all stop looking. God sees everything we do and knows our heart and true intentions. The rest is insignificant. Know yourself well enough that you can stand alone, be courageous and be fully manifested as the best extension of ourselves. Keep moving forward and do not give your time to anything that is not progressive and enriching emotionally, spiritually, and/or financially.  Do not allow people to disrupt the balance of your life. There is no place for them. Do not give them a seat, couch or room to spread out and get comfy.
Get in the BUSYness of taking care of yourself, family and loved ones. Feed yourself spiritually and you will not give license to people who are starving for things they are lacking within themselves. At the end of the day,  There is absolutely  no time to waste. Every moment can be one of beautiful inspiration and succinct clarity.  This is the only way to be productive, effective and  shine brilliantly as a human being.

"You know that feeling...It starts in your toes, or maybe your fingers, when you hear your favorite dance song. That utterly joyous feeling that makes you want to jump to your feet and hop around no matter who is watching:)

I encourage everyone to surrender to the spirit of Dance.   I could go on and on about the healthy benefits of Dance but the truth is, its just so much fun to sweat and let loose while you are learning something new. It brings joy to the heart and peace to the mind. So YES! You can keep Stress at bay through Dance. and YES! You can achieve your fitness goals through dance.
That is reason enough to come out to Kreative Kulture House and enjoy one of my dance classes.

I have always believed in the power of taking that first step, there is a certain magic that lies there.... no one can do it for you...all it takes is a willing heart full of a passion."

When I dance, I commune. Music provides the language & my body is the instrument. dancing isnt just a series of steps by numbers or memorized patterns. True Dancers have the responsibility to give everything within: all the training, techniques, & talents & surrender to it, 2 chant down babylon making the earth tremble from beneath your feet. Dancing is not frivolous movement. it can be... fun, entertaining, sensual, meaningful and spiritual.
We are athletes of artistic expression. By no means is it easy. We train our whole bodies relentlessly 2 process sound & imprint memories to our muscles. we seek to attain nirvana, no matter how fleeting, with every step, & sway. Our bodies remember the ancients as we move rythmically through chango, yemaya, ochun, y ellegua & dance of the times we have never set eyes upon. Dancing for me is communion i say...ts feeling the music with all your soul, having the courage 2 surrender yourself inside each clave. Its therapeutic & life affirming. connecting yourself 2 music is pivotal. Many people dance but dont listen 2 the music. Music can come alive from within you. If your not tuning yourself, your body 2 the music its rythmns & yes even lyrics, then your just imitating steps.

I've comprised a dance philosophy that is unique and applicable! Through extensive study in dance, fitness and martial arts, ive used my experience to develop this philosophy and teach it to everyone. Dancing is not just about moving your feet. It is an experience that frees and empowers a person to express themselves through music. There are 36 chambers of body movement & fundamentals in my philosophy. 36 states of physical creativity & exploration... and in that exploration, the possibilities are limitless!
